Razor PowerWing Caster Scooter (Black)

If you have boys in your house, you know that they love scooters, especially the Razor kick scooters.  The Razor A Kick Scooter are a great start for kids – they are relatively inexpensive, easy to learn, and very fun.  Take the kid’s to the park or the school blacktop and let them blast their way around and burn off their energy.

 

After a while though, the scooter obsessed boy will long for something different.  The Razor PowerWing Scooter is definitely different.  The Razor Powerwing Drifting Caster Scooter is designed with one wheel in the front and dual rear sters that allow you to turn, drift and accelerate without having to push.  While you don’t need to push, my boys would often push to start off and then use their hips to swing the PowerWing from side to side and pick up even more speed.

The dual rear casters allow for great spinning action.  You need to be careful though, as doing 360′s is fun, but you can fall backwards if you do it too fast.  Wheelies are also possible and the PowerWing has wheelie bars on the back to prevent falling over backwards.

When you get going a little too fast, the PowerWing offers a hand brake which offers great stopping power.  While not as compact as a Razor A Kick scooter, the PowerWing does have a folding mechanism which makes it more compact and easy to fit in the trunk.   You really can’t go wrong with the PowerWing.
